Muhammad Ali, Business Unit Head at RCM Matter
Get paid faster for the care you already provide
I help independent practices, medical groups and hospitals cut claim denials, recover aging AR and run billing, credentialing and front-office work without adding to overhead.
End-to-end revenue cycle management
One partner from registration to final payment
RCM Matter, a TechMatter company, handles medical billing, coding, credentialing and AR follow-up for providers across all 50 states. We work inside your existing EHR and practice management system, so there is nothing new for your staff to learn.
Take the full cycle or only the pieces you need, whether that is denial management, old AR or a dedicated virtual assistant for your front desk. There are no long-term contracts: clients stay because the numbers improve.

Credentialli
Credentialing in one system, not a spreadsheet
Credentialli is the credentialing platform healthcare organizations use to collect provider documents, track licenses and expirations, keep exclusion status in view and manage payer enrollment. It replaces the spreadsheet and the email thread with a single, audit-ready database.
Provider documents in one place
Providers upload licenses, certificates and forms once and share them across every entity in your organization.
CAQH sync
Syncs with DataSpring (CAQH), so profile data stays consistent without retyping.
Payer enrollment, end to end
Track every application from submission to approval, with each provider's status visible at a glance.
OIG and SAM exclusion monitoring
Exclusion status for every provider in one dashboard, alongside expiration and renewal alerts.

How I think about your revenue cycle
The three-stage roadmap I use with every client
Most avoidable denials are created at registration and insurance verification, long before a claim reaches the payer. I audit and fix the front end first, then work forward.
Front end
- Scheduling and registration
- Insurance eligibility and benefits
- Prior authorizations
Mid cycle
- Clinical documentation
- Medical coding
- Charge entry and claim scrubbing
Back end
- Claim submission and payment posting
- Denial management and appeals
- AR follow-up and reporting

About me
Muhammad Ali
I lead revenue growth and operational strategy at RCM Matter as Business Unit Head. I work directly with independent practices, medical groups and hospitals to reduce claim denials, speed up reimbursement and streamline billing operations without adding overhead.
My work spans the full revenue cycle: insurance eligibility and CAQH credentialing at the front end, documentation and coding in the middle, and claim submission, payment posting and denial recovery at the back end. I also lead business development for our sister companies CureAR and Credentialli, so clients get services and software from one team.
I follow payer and CMS policy changes closely, from Medicare Beneficiary Identifier reissues to virtual credit card fees, so client practices can act before a change costs them revenue.

Questions practices ask
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the 2.99% model and a dedicated resource?
With complete RCM at 2.99% of insurance collections, everything from verification of benefits until the claim is paid is our responsibility. With a dedicated resource at $1,500 per month for 160 hours, you get a team member who works only for you on the tasks you choose, and your team directs the work.
What does the free practice analysis include?
Our AAPC-certified billers and coders review your claims, denials and AR and deliver a roadmap within 5 business days. We sign a BAA first and need read access to your EHR and PM system. There is no commitment, and you keep the report.
Do I have to change my EHR or billing software?
No. Our team works inside your existing EHR and practice management system. If you want new software, CureAR is included with our billing services at no extra cost.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Clients stay because results improve, not because they are locked in.
How do you keep patient data secure?
We are HIPAA compliant. A business associate agreement is signed before we access any system, every team member has a named login, and staff sign NDAs.
Can I outsource only part of my billing?
Yes. Take the full revenue cycle or just denial management, AR recovery, credentialing or a single virtual staff role.
How much does credentialing cost and how long does it take?
New credentialing is $200 per payer, per provider, and recredentialing or renegotiation is $150. Most payers take 90 to 150 days; we keep each application moving and you can track it live in Credentialli.
What does RCM Matter Care cost?
Nothing. SEO and marketing through RCM Matter Care is free for providers.
Which specialties do you support?
All major specialties, including physical therapy, cardiology, orthopedics, behavioral health, OB/GYN, imaging centers and more. Use the specialty finder above to see the issues we fix in yours.
How do we get started?
Request a free practice analysis below. We review your current billing, show you where revenue is leaking and recommend next steps, with no obligation.

What can we take off your plate?
