California Medical Billing Support From Eligibility Through A/R

You provide care — we handle the rest. With nationwide reach, our advanced Medical Billing and Coding solutions optimize your revenue stream and reduce your back-office burden.

Billing Support for Different Practice Types and Specialties

Practice size affects staffing and handoffs; specialty affects documentation, coding, authorization, claim edits, and reimbursement. RCM Matter publishes billing support for independent practices, medical groups, and a broad range of specialties, but each engagement should still be scoped to the practice actual services and payer mix.

Talk With a Billing Specialist About Your Current Workflow

Tell us which functions are creating the most rework, such as eligibility, coding, rejected claims, denials, payment posting, or
aging A/R. We will discuss the services that fit your practice and the information needed to evaluate the engagement.

Revenue Cycle Services for Healthcare Providers

RCM Matter revenue cycle management service can be used together or scoped as individual services. The objective is
to create clear handoffs between patient access, billing, payment, and follow-up rather than leaving separate teams to resolve the same account repeatedly.

We provide specialized medical billing services in Connecticut, ensuring healthcare providers receive the highest reimbursement rates while staying compliant with evolving regulations.
01
Florida Medicaid and SMMC 3.0
Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration states that most Florida Medicaid recipients are enrolled in the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care program. SMMC 3.0 began on February 1, 2025, and the former 11-region structure changed to nine lettered regions, A-I. A billing workflow should identify the member's current plan and region, confirm provider participation and eligibility, check referral or authorization requirements, route the claim correctly, and use the applicable plan's current claim, correction, dispute, and filing instructions. When Florida Medicaid work is included in the engagement, the scope should specify which fee-for-service and SMMC plans are supported, who owns portal work and authorization follow-up, and how plan changes are communicated to the practice.
02
Medicare Advantage and Original Medicare
Medicare Advantage plans cover Medicare benefits within federal rules, but network, utilization-management, claim-routing, and appeal steps can differ by plan and product. CMS coverage and prior-authorization rules require important guardrails, yet providers still need to confirm the member's plan, network status, benefits, authorization or referral requirements, documentation, claim address or payer ID, and appeal route before deadlines pass. Timely filing cannot be managed as one universal deadline. Original Medicare claims generally must be submitted within one calendar year after the date of service, subject to limited exceptions. Medicare Advantage, Medicaid managed care, commercial, and other plans may use different contractual or administrative deadlines. The billing work queue should track the rule that applies to the actual payer and claim type.
03
Florida PIP Billing When It Applies
Practices treating injuries from motor-vehicle accidents may encounter Florida Personal Injury Protection billing. Under the 2026 Florida PIP statute, medical benefits generally depend on initial services and care within 14 days of the accident. The statute also contains time-sensitive statement-of-charge rules, generally 35 days, or up to 75 days when a qualifying notice of initiation of treatment is submitted within 21 days, with exceptions and detailed documentation requirements. PIP work should use a separate checklist for accident and insurer details, coverage and benefits, provider and service eligibility, documentation, statement timing, payment review, and dispute escalation. Confirm the current statute, insurer instructions, and legal or compliance interpretation for each case. RCM Matter should confirm during consultation whether PIP billing is included in the proposed scope.
